Resumo
It carries out a study in the Documentation Center of the Jaime Câmara Group, located in the city of Goiânia - Goiás. A bibliographic survey was used on audiovisual documents, especially in the media. The research was a case study and descriptive research, an interview script was elaborated that was carried out with the librarian responsible for the services of the documentation center in order to know the human resources, services, technical processing, preservation of the collection and users and the operation thereof. There was a large volume of documents and information to be dealt with and many of them already using modern technologies. It is concluded that all the treatment developed is of great importance for archiving and memory of the journalistic productions as well as the re-use of the information.
