Resumo

The success rate for the evaluation of the results of techni- ques of Assisted Human Reproduction implies the occurrence of pregnancy with a live, healthy child. There are reports of the association between chemical and unhealthy environmental air conditions (bacteria, dust, particulates and volatile compounds) and reducing the success rate of embryo production and the occurrence of pregnancy. This paper reviews available infor- mation about the interference of biochemical, environmental and microbiological changes with the success of the assisted reproductive technique.
