Resumo

With the advent of digital technologies, many changes in the communication processes scenery have been installed. People began to have a space to show their opinions, interact and also create content, what differs a lot from the old relationships exerced between emitters and receivers configurated by the traditional media, since they didn’t enable participation and interactivity. This work track a path that perpasses the mass comunication, the mediation and reaches to the hypermedian, where does a focus on the Transmedia Storytelling and in the Culture of Participation. The Star Wars Saga, created by George Lucas, accompanied this path and it is used as a basis for this study, since it was created in a period when there was only massive media and continues present today when everyone can create. The general objective of this work is to understand the communication changes from the new technologies. The questioning for the research survey was “How does the relationship of individuals with the participatory culture in the case of the Star Wars Saga take place?” and the research carried out has a qualitative character, with a semi-structured interview.
