Resumo

This work is about the relation between librarians and teachers as reading’s intermediaries inside of the school’s library in a municipal school, in the county of Aparecida, in Goiânia - GO. The goal is the analyze the existence of the partnership between these professionals, pointing out educational activities made by the librarian and the faculty members; and from them, to identify their partnership in acting as intermediaries in reading practices and to observe how this act characterizes itself. It questions the hypothesis of the existence of intermediary in reading in the school’s library in Aparecida - Goiânia in which librarian and teachers are together in the intervention. This work discuss about the theoretical and conceptual points of view about the school’s library and it’s librarian hole, in addition to observing the particularities that exists in teachers and librarians while reading intermediaries. In a methodological way, deals with the case study theme based on descriptive and exploratory research, carried out through theoretical survey built survey from a bibliometric study. It collects the database through a questionnaire applied with the teachers and the librarian of the evaluated institution and the in loco observation of the students’ behavior, especially in questions dealing with the promotion of culture inside of the institution. Integrates the project “Reading and it’s theoretical, historical and conceptual conceptions: perspectives in the field of informal literacy, communication and informal behavior in different formal and informal educational settings”. (“A Leitura e suas concepções teóricas, históricas e conceituais: perspectivas no campo do letramento informacional, da comunicação e comportamento informacional em diferentes instâncias educacionais formais e informais”). Concludes by reaffirming the importance of school libraries as a place of dissemination of knowledge and training of readers and that the librarian is a professional capable of proposing and executing pedagogical actions related to the mediation of teaching practices and reading, in partnership with the teachers.
