Resumo
Successful management and cure of gestational trophoblastic disease (GTD ) depends upon prompt, accurate diagnosis and institution
of individualized therapeutic modalities. Because GTD encompasses a multitude of clinical entities, each with myriad presentations, clinicians
must remain alert to identify patients exhibiting signs and symptoms consistent with GTD . The focus of this article is the diverse
manifestations as well as the diagnosis by ultrasound of theca lutein cysts of the ovary.
