Resumo
The aim of this case report is to demonstrate that the identification of human bodies of difficult
recognition may be determined through the use and analysis of radiographic images in the field
of forensic dentistry. It is the use of two relatively simple and effective techniques that involve
the scrutiny of the frontal sinus, and the comparison of images taken during life and after death.
The radiographic confrontation associated to the two mentioned techniques allowing a positive
correlation of the identity of the disappeared person with the body examined.
