Resumo
The present work is focused on the use of special funds by the government in
a goiano contexts. Has to verify whether there is an effective relationship between
the Special Fund for Renovation and Modernization of the Fire Brigade of the State
of Goiás - FUNEBOM and investments made in the period 2010 to 2013 the Fire
Brigade of the State of Goiás. Methodology is descriptive whereas for analysis
comparisons were performed using horizontal and vertical analysis of investments in
the CBMGO materials and operating vehicles in the years 2010 to 2013. Was found
that the relationship between investments in CBMGO in the years 2010 to 2013 and
FUNEBOM has two important aspects, one direct and one indirect. Directly,
FUNEBOM influenced the acquisition of operating materials reaching the goals set
out in the law of its creation. In Indirect aspect, it is assumed that the financial
resources that were once destined for the CBMGO through FUNESP will be used
henceforth in other public safety needs, such as Military Police and Civilian Police
