Resumo
Every society has it culture, which can be seen in all kinds of ways that represent its identity. Journalism studying culture allows the reader to have the knowledge and access to all those different ways of culture. It also brings the possibility to think about it, criticizing and acting like the media which will influence, transforme and create a new citizen, as a subject. Journalism must be democratic, without any privileges of any people or group. This assignment introduces a study of Magazine, the editorial of the journal O Popular, responsible for the Brazilian state Goiás. The mais goal is to assure if there is a certain view of the world imposed by Cultural Journalism. It had as theorical basis studies about culture, mass culture, popular culture, elite culture and some journalistic concepts which concern the theme.
