Resumo

This monograph based on the scientometrical study aims to understand whether research projects in UFG are being developed in line with the principles of interdisciplinarity and of intrainstitutional relations advocated by REUNI. The methodological foundation is based on explorer research, quantitative type, however , opening prospects for qualitative analysis of the phenomenon observed. The sample is implemented in research projects effectively allocated in the UFG SAP System available through ongoing consultation and coordinated by PRPPG. The research corpus comprises faculty, undergraduates and graduate students and technical and administrative staff of UFG. In the developing of the research, were quantitatively observed the presences of authorship regimen and the levels of prevalence of collaborative authorship in each area of knowledge in response to the assumptions described in REUNI program. Within the time frame from 2004 to 2012, the numbers measured on projects and participants were able to demonstrate that the system of collaborative authorship prevailed in relation to the individual in the Agricultural Sciences, Biological Sciences, Health Sciences, Exact and Earth Sciences and Engineering. The single authorship was dominant option for Humanities, Social Sciences and Linguistics, Letters and Arts. Interdisciplinarity, term used to refer to collaboration networks theme, has not been examined satisfactory because of the impossibility of verification of semantics and methodology of the projects analyzed. However, considering the theoretical foundations developed by several scholars, the simple gathering of researchers from other areas of knowledge in a given scientific project does not qualify it as interdisciplinary, but as multidisciplinary. It was concluded by the need to increase collaboration networks which implies an act of will on the part of the coordinators of the research projects and consonance with institutional policy that values the training of young researchers, started at undergraduation (Scientific Initiation), continued in graduation and consolidated in the research groups in a continuous soil cultivation and encouragement of academic scientific production.
