Item Arte, arquitetura e cultura: caminhos para a resistência na obra de Lina Bo Bardi e de Hélio Oiticica(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2020-03-27) Aleixo, Paulo Arthur Silva; Caixeta, Eline Maria Mora Pereira; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5246618096427219; Caixeta, Eline Maria Mora Pereira; Oliveira, Adriana Mara Vaz de; Pereira, Maíra TeixeiraIn the vibrant Brazilian cultural production of the 1950s and 1960s, the approximation between the ideals of different fields of expression was common. This was a time when professionals in the arts and architecture were interested in moving out of their narrow spheres, taking a political stand by rethinking cultural production, aiming to strengthen the relationship with the popular strata and change the established situation. However, the 1964 coup d’état, which created a state of tension in the country's politics and culture, frustrated much of this artistic production, forcing the current thinkers to reorganize and rethink their acting strategies in the face of complicated reality established. In this scenario, the names of the Italian-Brazilian architect Lina Bo Bardi (Rome, 1914 - São Paulo, 1992) and the artist Hélio Oiticica (Rio de Janeiro, 1937 - Rio de Janeiro, 1980) are protagonists in the construction of a thought that sought, above all, ways to question the status quo and transform society. Acting in different places - Bo Bardi between Bahia and São Paulo, Oiticica between Rio de Janeiro and New York - and belonging to different generations and fields of production, their trajectories never crossed, despite having a strong affinity of convictions. The interventions of these figures have condensed but also served as a starting point for most of the concerns contained in the reflections of contemporary architects, artists and intellectuals. Thus, the present work seeks to initiate a reflection on the principles and vital interlocutions that Bo Bardi and Oiticica nurtured in the passage from the 1960s to the 1970s, trying to understand how their productions stood as voices of resistance to the established. To this end, it starts from successive approaches, isolating some influential figures and certain activities developed that, placed in the same perspective, can contribute to the image of a potent cultural phenomenon that fought for greater social and political engagement.Item Relações de poder e de gênero nos livros didáticos de arte no ensino fundamental(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2020-06-30) Amorim, Andréa Alcântara Almeida; Abreu, Carla Luzia de; Abreu, Carla Luzia de; Perotto, Lilian Ucker; Cabral, Valéria Fabiane Braga FerreiraThe research Power and Gender relations in Elementary School Art Textbooks has the main objective of investigating how images of textbooks and the relationship of their contents with gender and power issues, in addition to examining how they are received and used. materials by the art teaching professor in public and private school the city of Goiânia, Goiás. Based on the studies of Visual Culture and critical feminist studies of Art History, especially in his assertions about the invisibility of women in the oficial discourses of Art, questions and answers about the possibilities and limits of the textbook to work as gender issues, considering an opinion of a group of teachers and teachers of elementary school. This problematization was guided by the analysis of two collections indicated by the National Plan of Didactic Book (PNLD) in Art of the year 2017, directed to the final years of Elementary School (8th and 9th grade). Interviews were also carried out with a group of collaborating professors and a textbook author, to learn about the perception of these people about these teaching materials. It is expected with this research to problematize how images are selected to appear in textbooks, as well as to reflect about the importance of these materials in educational context, specifically, the Teaching of Art.Item Fotografia e violência: reflexões sobre corpos (in)dóceis(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2019-02-25) Augusto, Paulo Soares; Silva, Thiago Fernando Sant´Anna e; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9735682996647548; Silva, Thiago Fernando Sant´anna e; Santos, Regma Maria dos; Franco, Edgar; Sá, Raquel SalimenoThis thesis addresses the violence of the photographic act. Guided by a theoretical construct of Visual Culture, the research is developed from the author's experience in photographing alleged criminals in police stations in the city of Uberlândia (2002-2005). It highlights the violence of the photojournalist in his antipersonification and his passivity in relation to the violence against the other. In addition, it presents the development of a photojournalism with a strong social bias that contrasts with the panoptic system. Photojournalism is also approached contextually among other forms of violence that have the city as a stage. That is, they are considered the "states of violence" and the "mechanisms" of her production mediated by the newspaper. To conclude, the images produced and censored in the context of journalism (and used as the source of this research) migrate to another space - the art museum - in which they gain new interpretations and suggest more open paths. When transposed to other spaces, the photographs generate new and emancipating meanings: for the photographer and for the dissemination and reflection of the images of violence.Item Arquitetura e modernidades na educação secundarista em Goiânia (1937- 1971)(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2020-06-02) Cardoso, Bárbara Maria; Mahler, Christine Ramos; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8047665415543107; Mello, Fernando Antônio Oliveira; Resende, Sandra Catharinne Pantaleão; Mahler, Christine RamosResumo em língua estrangeira: The present study seeks to investigate schoolar architecture in Goiânia from two ensembles of buildings, corresponding to different periods of Modernity: the first one, related to the stage of construction of the city, from 1933 to 1950, and the second one, in the stage of consolidation of the city – related to its growth, from 1950 to 1971 – a moment marked by the search for progress in the country and in the state of Goiás, when there was a change in paradigms in Brazilian education with the rupture of teaching patterns adopted until then. The purpose of the research, in the field of Theory and History of Architecture, is to observe how the transformations in the selected school buildings took place, in both scenarios, based on analytical categories and architectural and urbanistic attributes. Initially, it is necessary to recover the historical context and the approach of the theoretical paradigms of Education to understand the pedagogical assumptions and programmatic needs - and of Architecture - as a translation of the educational needs -, referring to the time frame. Thus, the two architectural ensembles will be confronted as to the characteristics - typological, compositional, plastic-formal, functional, constructive and tectonic - and urban - implementation, relationship in the urban landscape and in the history of the city. The contribution to the historiography of Goiânia applied to Education, in addition to the documentation itself, can stimulate reflections about Architecture, Education and the city.Item O conceito de customização em massa entre fôrmas e formas: uma abordagem sobre painéis de vedação pré-fabricados tipo sanduíche mistos de concreto armado com núcleo em EPS no processo de projeto em arquitetura(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2020-06-30) Flauzino Neto, Haroldo Dias; Oliveira, Janes Cleiton Alves de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0137157163177759; Oliveira, Janes Cleiton Alves de; Lima, Fábio Ferreira de; Andrade, Liza Maria Souza deThis dissertation aims to analyze or the scope of civil construction through the mass customization method combined with the pre-fabrication of concrete images in reinforced concrete with an EPS core, not design process in architecture, method and technology supported in three minimal room design models. The work aims to contribute, technically and theoretically, to the consolidation of the of the method of mass customization in the civil construction, theory that shows, so far, as a good alternative to the serial production of the city, minimizing, although partial, functional, pathological and visual impacts of dwelling, understanding, in his theory, that the house is the true extension of being and identity, actions contrary to the practices of massification in civil construction in what concerns the construction serial in Brazil. The results demonstrate that mass customization can contribute to the architectural design process using prefabrication as demonstrated in this work with the construction of prefabricated sandwich panels with EPS core.Item “Deixa meu sangue escorrer”: como as visualidades operam sobre os sentidos da menstruação?(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2020-02-18) Gomides, Lana de Araújo; Silva, Thiago Fernando Sant’Anna e; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9735682996647548; Silva, Thiago Fernando Sant’Anna e; Martins, Alice Fátima; Ferreira, Maria Meire de Carvalho; Lima, Angélica RodriguesThe main direction of this research is an approach of the visualities that operate on the menstruation senses. This clipping has to do with the cultural constructions that western society has undertaken over the centuries on the notions of gender and sexualities of the subjects. Official discourses are disseminated under the protection of different pedagogical forms that act, from the terminological perspective of Michel Foucault (1999), as a network of devices in order to control the behavior of society. The woman saw herself framed in social roles imposed by the sexist and misogynistic hegemonic hand, and her body still carries marks of a path sustained by naturalized ideas. In this sense, menstruation is presented, in different situations, as a physical and emotional barrier due to the taboos assigned to it. Once the advertisement images were, for a long time, the main form of public exposure of the theme, the dialogue proposed here has them as the entry point to carry out transits in the field of Visual Culture Studies. To understand the popular imagination, as well as the nuances that permeate the actions of those who occupy positions of power, this writing dialogued with visualities produced by absorbent and analgesic brands that propose to relieve the pains arising out from menstrual cramps. After the conclusion of the first chapter, the research approaches itself to the contravisualities resulting from the non-acceptance of the official speeches. The discussion support is in the works of artists who, from menstruation, provoked reflections on the senses that were attributed to the female body. The third chapter makes contact with the experiences of women and of a transsexual man who carry, in their bodies, place of speech in relation to the subject. Far from reaching a final conclusion and establishing truths, the aim of this search is to provoke the displacement of the gaze towards the visualities to which we are exposed and cause weirdities towards such normalities.Item Desfiando Terezas e bordando Bicudas: a menina no quintal e as dobras do seu jornal(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2010-05-10) Martins, Rosilandes Cândida; Guimarães, Leda Maria de Barros; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1491866271915819; Guimarães, Leda Maria de Barros; Frange, Lucimar Bello; Tourinho, IreneIn this research, I explore the narratives of Tereza Bicuda from my repertoire of childhood memories and aesthetic experiences. Tereza Bicuda figure from a set of narratives that circulate from the colonial era to the present day in the region of Central Brazil. In a multiple perspective and connected to the context of visual culture, I seek from the personal memories and vital, my insertion into the collective life and body of elements that develop in scenic poetry to merge and create fields of dialogue for this study. The elmentos personal poetics of this research are understood and lived as a raw material for reflection with the potential for aesthetic education. The narratives of Tereza Bicuda, along with my textures of learning have been plaited into a meeting / workshop with a group of young Lahetô Circus School. These employees / ox, in a context of artistic, educational and scenic, built drawings / collages and unfolded comments embroider various shades of interpretations. This study establishes a dialogue with the notions of multiplicity (SILVA, 2004) as processes of movement and diversity; "aesthetics of everyday life" (RICHTER, 2003) with an expansion of understanding of concepts, activities, and artistic artifacts and art-educational potential of these practices; notions of "precarious" (Shohat, 2006; Bakhtin, 2008) construed as ingenuity, strength and playfulness; notions of "ethics of care" (Gilligan, 1982), which function as an experience of interconnectedness and caring relationships, and "Baroque fold "(Deleuze, 1991), which connects the three-dimensional textures, linking to the textile. Merchandising notions are constructed by mating elements of "DIY" (Kincheloe, 2007), "autoetnografia (VERSIANI, 2005) and" mapping "(ROLNIK, 2006).Item Lares de Campinas: a identidade campineira expressa em casas remanescentes no século XXI(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2020-03-31) Meireles, Emilly Faria de; Badan, Rosane Costa; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2241460854673642; Badan, Rosane Costa; Mahler, Christine Ramos; Ferreira, Braulio ViníciusThis dissertation presents the relationship between the identity of people from Campinas and that of people from Goiânia based on the study of remaining houses in the region. The Campinas native goes back to the construction of the capital of the State of Goiás, which was formerly in Campinas, until then, an independent municipality. The investigation assumed that, with the merging of the two localities, a feeling of affection was awakened in the identity in people from Campinas regarding their place of origin. The objective of the research was to understand if this Campinas identity was also expressed in the current houses in Campinas and if there was hybridity between colonial and modern styles. In methodological terms, the collective identity of Campinas was analyzed based on historiography, information from primary documents, oral history derived from interviews and photographic records collected in some houses, carefully selected in both regions. The text covered the history of Campinas and Goiânia, considering the context of tradition and progress, identity and memory. Then, there was a debate about the house and the home, taking into account the symbolic meanings, borders, furniture and styles inherent to this accumulating agent of stories, memories and identities. Finally, through visits to the localities, it was analyzed how the identity was inserted in the selected houses. The results demonstrated the existence of a hybridism resulting from the material changes that the remaining popular houses have undergone over the years.Item Interstícios e conexões na paisagem do rio Paranaíba em Itumbiara (1974-2015)(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2020-02-20) Reis, Mônica Otero de Melo dos; Mello, Márcia Metran de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4684676783995945; Mello, Márcia Metran de; Boaventura, Deusa Maria Rodrigues; Oliveira, Adriana Maria Vaz de; Mahler, Christine Ramos; Valva, Milena D'AyalaSince the formation of the town of Itumbiara, located in the interior of Goiás, on the border with Minas Gerais, several processes and dynamics have been established with the inhabitants. This work aims to analyze the differentiated social relations established with the Paranaíba River and its effects on the urban landscape of Itumbiara. The river permeates the urban perimeter of the city, having elements that in its historical trajectory reveal and translate the diversity of phenomenas with direct influence on sociological relations, on the urban layout of the city and on the river itself: the Affonso Penna Pensile Bridge, the river procession in honor of Nossa Senhora das Graças and the Beira Rio Avenue. The time clipping covers from 1974 to 2015, the period when the construction of the Furnas Hydroelectric Power Plant in Itumbiara began, due to the enormous energy potential attributed to the Paranaíba River. The symbolism of the river Procession in homage to Nossa Senhora das Graças will run from the miracle to the established foot and river routes, within the same period of coverage. The processes of project, displacement, reallocation of the Affonso Penna Pensile Bridge will be approached by the imaginary and define the limit of the time cut of the research, one year after its collapse in 2014. The Beira Rio Avenue, integrating the analyzed elements related to the Paranaíba River, comprising from the landscape project, the revitalization project, and the interlacing occurred in this context. The methodological approach is based on the bibliographic review and the survey of documentary and photographic data. The systematization and research of the work was carried out from the analysis and understanding of the texts and works of authors and scholars of the subject. The maps and surveys aimed to translate the data collected.Item Animação e diversidade: gênero trans e arte Sudaca – aquarelando com pigmentos naturais para além do azul e do rosa(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2020-03-09) Santana, Janayna Medeiros Pinto; Berardo, Rosa Maria; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5933853765756576; Berardo , Rosa Maria; Rodrigues, Manoela dos Anjos Afonso; Oliveira, Flávio Gomes deYou, reader or reader, consider this text as an essay in which I bring part of my concerns and experiments from research in art, which has as a differential the focus on making conceptual images that illustrate a script for animation, which were watercolored with natural pigments. The proposal consists of developing, under the theme LGBTQI +, an animation script, until the production of watercolored manual drawings with natural pigments that represent it visually. It is projected through the theoretical-methodological construction of weaving, to take place through such a method in written and audiovisual language, to the elaboration of a final product, being a documentary about the process of creating these images that illustrate my script in a version for a storyboard. The proposal is structured around the protagonism of history by a trans character (woman / girl), in the name of a Sudanese art, which seeks to break with the ideological paradigms of a hegemonic western culture, which presents the differences in stigmatized, violated and silenced. Dialoging with the place, the Cerrado, and the re-existence of this biome in the face of an agricultural culture that devastates it out of ambition, in the name of food and the maintenance of society. I sought to explore its natural diversity in terms of its color palette to be printed in watercolors, where I come to call for a policy of identities and place. In a “tangle” of relevant discussions, the fact of the emergency in dealing with current and controversial issues, such as the re-existence of trans people and the confrontation of violence to the LGBTQI + group, stands out and together problematize the re-existence of the Cerrado biome, highlighting it o in its plurality.Item O processo de projeto sob a ótica da formação do Arquiteto e Urbanista da PUC GO(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2020-08-27) Silva, Polyana Rodrigues Franco da; Lima, Fábio Ferreira de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9209362463242475; Kallas, Luana Miranda Esper; Ferreira, Bráulio Vinícius; Lima, Fábio Ferreira deThe investigation about the design processes in the field of Architecture and Urbanism, in the context of teaching-learning of design practices, constitutes an important research area of the main Universities in Brazil. As these activities unfold in complex stages, it is necessary to bring new questions and reflections that allow possible readjustments and improvements in the teaching of creative activities. Thus, the dissertation has the objective of identifying the major influences capable of affecting processes in projects implemented on the course of Architecture and Urbanism at Pontifical Catholic University of Goiás (PUC-GO), an institution that has been responsible for training most of the State's professionals. For this, the used methodology started from the bibliographic / documentary research and studies of carried out production in the project disciplines. The results obtained reinforce the imbricated relationship between the institution's trajectory, the political pedagogical projects elaborated and the Project processes and project teaching that have been established over the years.Item Entre metáforas e matéria. Estéticas e políticas do oceano na arte contemporânea(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2019-12-12) Sousa, Camila Maissune Martins Abranches de; Monteiro, Rosana Horio; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9262982142956906; Monteiro, Rosana Horio; Hirano, Luís Felipe Kojima; Ferreira, Glauco Batista; Hollman, Verónica Carolina; Jesus, Samuel José Gilbert deUnderstanding the emergence of a new cultural history of the sea in the 1990s and the revision of the “terracentric” tropes that have always underscored philosophical and historiographic understandings of human societies, this research discusses the ocean as a “place” that gathers images, experiences and memories that necessarily open to a new constellation of thematic and aesthetic problems. Considering the pictorial and Anglo-American tradition of sea representation, and the dialogue between contemporary oceanic perspectives and and the fields of postcolonial literature, the philosophy of landscape, art history and visual culture, I investigate the works of Caspar David Friedrich, J. M. W. Turner, Drexciya, The Otolith Group and Ellen Gallagher. How such works can provide an alternative spatialization of our cultural imagination and contribute to the emergence of a new perspective on the relation between art, nature and identity is the main focus of this thesis.Item Cidade de Goiás: o patrimônio em questão(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2020-06-04) Souza, Vinícius Antonelli de; Oliveira, Adriana Mara Vaz de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6774803204502154; Oliveira, Adriana Mara Vaz de; Mahler, Christine Ramos; Peixoto, Elane RibeiroThe process of patrimonialization of the historic center of the City of Goiás began at the national level in the second half of the 20th century and was consolidated with the global downturn in 2001. The colonial configuration of the Vilaboense group, a priori stigmatized, has established itself as a cultural image of local society and the main element to be preserved, amid all manner of preservationist policies. The interventions that took place over time in the topple perimeter contributed to the imaginary aggrandizement of the city as a 17th century scenario. From this observation, we sought to understand how the institutional performance, or not, of heritage and its preservationist trajectory contributed to consolidate such images of the City of Goiás. It is based on the actions carried out from the 1970s to the present day, peering at the solidification of the image of the he patrimonialized city, through the urbanization of the urban section of the historic center, with the encouragement of copies, mimicry and removal of contradictions to the originality set. To do this, the acts of Iphan, city Hall, Monumenta Program and Aceleração do Crescimento – Cidades Históricas Program were considered. This plurality of actions reflects an arduous survey within the scope of these institutions and their preservationist instruments, resulting in the recognition of process that has not yet ended. Among the latest interventions are Restoration of the Municipal Market, of the Cine Teather São Joaquim, of the City Hall, the Requalification of Headquarters of the diocese of Goiás – installation of the Diocese archive, that fulfill the role of updating the language of preservation in the face of contemporary life. As a repercussion of the patrimonialized urban image in front the society, the circumstances arising from the establishment of tourist practices in the historical section are investigated.Item Goiânia através dos espaços públicos: praças e parques como fator de segregação(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2020-05-05) Vieira, Gabriela Cavalcante Lemos; Britto, Pedro Dultra; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3392969122990264; Britto, Pedro Dultra; Amaral, Camilo Vladimir de Lima; Costa, Thiago de AraújoPublic spaces have been adapting over the years according to the transformations that have taken place in the city, taking on various forms of appropriation and moving through different meanings and concepts. Since the late 1980s, there has been an influx of research on the decline of public spaces, due to numerous reasons. In Goiânia, there is such a decline in relationships such as: the overvaluation of urban land, urban segregation, the absence of basic infrastructure in the countless approved subdivisions, the new forms of work relationship (and not work), the prioritization of the use of transportation motorized and the technological revolution of communication. According to David Harvey (2014) cities have become places to invest and not to live, the well-being of the population is no longer a priority, while profit has become the main concern in urban development. Currently, the transformation of the city's landscape is based on the interplay of interests between public and private powers, and concentrates investments in strategic areas for them. The choice of public leisure spaces (squares and parks) in Goiânia as an object of study stems from the need to point out the inefficiency of the public authorities in guaranteeing these spaces for the majority of the population residing in the city, in sprawling and deprived regions of the capital. This work deals with public facilities in poor neighborhoods (usually peripheral), as opposed to areas of greater purchasing power, seeking to unveil the real priorities of public policies and the imbalances in the application of resources, highlighting those related to the right to the city and urban infrastructure. leisure in the capital. Urban inequalities must be highlighted in order to seek improvements, making regions neglected by public and private powers more dignified. It is imperative to make this urban problem visible, which is reflected in the daily lives of people deprived of spaces where they can exercise their citizenship, that is, live together, interact, enjoy, exchange ideas and share experiences. When establishing comparisons between public facilities in poor neighborhoods with areas of greater purchasing power, indicating the regions of Goiânia benefited or not with the implementation of quality public leisure spaces, we highlight the factors of social and territorial segregation. We chose to include in the research everyday experiences of visitors to these areas, in an attempt to broaden the perception of a serious urban problem investigated by methodological processes are of an applied and explanatory nature, also evidenced in quantitative, qualitative and investigative analyzes. The research covered populous neighborhoods in the central, east, northwest, north, west, southwest and south of Goiânia administrative regions, implemented in different periods, and points out possible factors that imbalance public and private investments, real estate speculation and territorial and social segregation. Public leisure spaces - squares and parks - are analyzed by means of maps, tables and images of the aspects raised, as well as reports of residents' lives, proposing an approach under the right to the city
