Resumo
This work has as main objective to present the advantages of using the software
MAXIMA in the study of polynomial function of 1nd degree and 2nd degree. The
research included a brief study on: the MAXIMA software and its applications in
functions, construction of graphics and resolution of situations everyday problems.
