dc.description.abstractThis research is linked to reflections on the Folias de Reis in the city of Morrinhos/GO. With the problem raised about this mode, and in what terms and cleavages, late capitalism and modern sociability are presented in/from the festivities of the countryside and the city, presented as a general objective to understand the possible differences, coincidences and determinations in the ritual, in the performance of the folios and their ritual, considering late modernity and modern sociability as influenced by the (dis)continuity and transformation of tradition. That said, an ethnographic survey of city and country leaves will be carried out, and their common, discrepant and convergent rites/acts will be verified. With the need to also capture unique markers of the performances of the festivities, the countryside and the city, in order to understand the countryside and the city as transformers of an invented tradition. The intention is still to document the founding symbolism existing in the ritual of the festivities and its imbrications in the tradition invented in the countryside and in the city and its possible variants, in the municipality of Morrinhos/GO. We will use Raymond Williams' theories that will demonstrate the relationships we need, with the purpose of understanding how late capitalism and modern sociability, theories brought by João Emanuel Cardoso de Melo, the object of this research, form a line of meaning. Here we will research the Folias de Reis, the rituals, the ambience, and to do so we will use, to illuminate this research, the concepts brought about culture by Peter Burke and his load of meaning on the breadth of the theme; Cultural Circularity by Mikhail Bakhtin; Representation, by Roger Chartier; Identity, by Stuart Hall; Memory, by Boaventura de Souza Santos; Invented Tradition, by Eric Hobsbawm. The methodology used was qualitative research, at an exploratory level. Derived from an ethnographic method, of an interdisciplinary nature, of a bibliographic nature, with field research, in which 59 festivities were visited, whose focus is on the social relations between devotion, the agents (devotees) and all the communities that receive the festivities described in order to highlight a dynamic scenario between Country and City and their divisions, always seeking to achieve maximum security from a visual point of view, and to frame what was seen in theories, taking into account the strength of the festivities of the festivities in Morrinhos/Go.eng

dc.description.resumoEsta pesquisa vincula-se a reflexões sobre as Folias de Reis na cidade de Morrinhos/GO. Com o problema levantado sobre de que modo, e, em que termos e clivagens, se apresentam o capitalismo tardio e a sociabilidade moderna nas/das folias do campo e da cidade, apresentamos como objetivo geral compreender as possíveis diferenças, coincidências e determinações no ritual, nos corpos performáticos dos foliões e seu ritual, considerando a modernidade tardia e sociabilidade moderna como influenciadoras da (des) continuidade e transformação da tradição. Isso posto, será feito um levantamento etnográfico das folias da cidade e do campo, e verificar seus ritos/atos comuns, discrepantes e convergentes. Com a necessidade de também captar indícios marcadores singulares das performances das folias, do campo e da cidade, para assim compreender campo e cidade como transformadores de uma tradição inventada. A intenção ainda é documentar a simbologia fundante existente no ritual das folias e suas imbricações na tradição inventada no campo e na cidade e suas possíveis variantes, no município Morrinhos/GO. Lançaremos mão das teorias de Raymond Williams que irão demonstrar as relações que necessitamos, com a finalidade de compreender como o capitalismo tardio e a sociabilidade moderna, teorias trazidas por João Emanuel Cardoso de Melo, objeto dessa pesquisa, se perfazem numa linha de sentido. Pesquisaremos aqui as Folias de Reis, os rituais, a ambiência, e para tanto utilizaremos, para iluminar essa pesquisa, os conceitos trazidos sobre cultura por Peter Burke e sua carga de sentido sobre a amplitude do tema; Circularidade Cultural de Mikhail Bakhtin; Representação, de Roger Chartier; Identidade, de Stuart Hall; Memória, de Boaventura de Souza Santos; Tradição Inventada, de Eric Hobsbawm. A metodologia utilizada foi a de uma Pesquisa qualitativa, de nível exploratório. Depreendida de método etnográfico, de caráter interdisciplinar, de cunho bibliográfico, com pesquisa de campo, em que foram visitadas 59 companhias de folia, cujo denodo entre as relações sociais entre a devoção, os agentes (devotos) e todas as comunidades que recebem as folias estão descritas de modo a evidenciar um cenário dinâmico entre Campo e Cidade e suas clivagens, sempre buscando realizar maximamente as descrições a partir do ponto de vista visual, e enquadrar o que se via nas teorias, tendo em vista a força das festividades das folias em Morrinhos/Go.
