dc.description.abstractThis dissertation aims to investigate the place of women in the contemporary family in the face of the process of emancipation of the feminine in public (social) and private (family / individual) space, evidenced especially in the twentieth century. Starting from the central argument that contemporary women, even in the face of achievements that have allowed them to perform more socially and individually, still faces the challenge of having their autonomy legitimized by the male representations, this paper aims to present a critical discussion of the processes of women's emancipation. Process that led to new spaces of speech in the contemporary family. The aim of the feminine trajectory, its social and family place, the rights conferred upon it, the lack of freedom and the power over one's own life and body, is intended to apprehend the transformations by which its social role is instituted at the same time. throughout history, the senses of the autonomy acquired by the woman and to what extent she really takes effect. Thus, through a bibliographical research, it is necessary to question the conditions of female autonomy in the contemporary world, trying to understand if women still have to be legitimized by the male to emancipate themselves and what economic and social associations can be apprehended by compare the conquest of a new feminine place. Throughout century XX several social movements were realized that looked for the equality between the genders. Women's entry into the labor market, divorce law, discussions of abortion and the contraceptive pill are some of the female achievements from the claim of their rights. In Brazil, the feminist movement was assimilated with the presence of much struggle, conflict, resistance and dispute. Throughout her career, the conquest for the realization of women's rights in the fields of politics, work, private life, freedom and autonomy over self and her body exemplifies some of these claims. In this sense, the present work aims to articulate the search for female autonomy and its implications for the institution of the social place of women in the contemporary family. In analyzing some aspects of the historical changes of family structure, it intends to explore how social and economic factors are determinant in the formation of the contemporary individual and how the woman's space is perceived in this process.eng

dc.description.resumoEsta dissertação tem como objetivo investigar o lugar da mulher na família contemporânea frente ao processo de emancipação do feminino no espaço público (social) e no privado (familiar/individual), evidenciado isso, em especial, a partir do século XX. Partindo do argumento central de que a mulher contemporânea, mesmo que diante de conquistas que a permitiram ter uma maior atuação em âmbito social e individual, enfrenta ainda o desafio de ter sua autonomia legitimada pelas representações do masculino, este trabalho visa apresentar uma discussão crítica dos processos de emancipação da mulher. Processo que a conduziu a novos espaços de fala na família contemporânea. O olhar sobre a trajetória feminina, seu lugar social e na família, os direitos que lhe conferiam, a falta de liberdade e o poder sobre a própria vida e o corpo, tem por objetivo apreender as transformações pelas quais o seu papel social se institui ao longo da história, os sentidos da autonomia adquirida pela mulher e em que medida ela realmente se efetiva. Assim, por meio de uma pesquisa bibliográfica, faz–se necessário questionar as condições da autonomia feminina no mundo contemporâneo, buscando entender se a mulher ainda precisa ser legitimada pelo masculino para se emancipar e quais as associações econômicas e sociais que podem ser apreendidas ao se cotejar a conquista de um novo lugar feminino. Ao longo do século XX foram realizados vários movimentos sociais que buscavam a igualdade entre os gêneros. A entrada da mulher no mercado de trabalho, a lei do divórcio, as discussões sobre o aborto e a pílula anticoncepcional são algumas conquistas femininas a partir da reinvindicação de seus direitos. No Brasil, o movimento feminista foi assimilado com a presença de muita luta, conflito, resistência e disputa. Ao longo de sua trajetória, a conquista pela efetivação dos direitos das mulheres nos campos da política, do trabalho, da vida privada, da liberdade e autonomia sobre si e seu corpo exemplifica algumas dessas reinvindicações. Nesse sentido, o presente trabalho pretende articular a busca da autonomia feminina e suas implicações para a instituição do lugar social da mulher na família contemporânea. Ao analisar alguns aspectos das mudanças históricas de estruturação da família, pretende explorar como os fatores sociais e econômicos são determinantes na formação do indivíduo contemporâneo e como o espaço da mulher é percebido diante desse processo.eng
