In the field, I came across a surprise, that of deciding to do research among my relatives. Thus, ethical, methodological, theoretical and moral strangeness emerged during and after the field. This dissertation intends to present the implications of doing research with relatives who "spy", "help" and have "rights" over the stories told and written. With that, I realized that those inside the house could also be interlocutors, or better, relatives-interlocutors. That was how becoming the person who would have to take care of my grandmother Anita, a véia that has fallen for age, discussions about an origin-world family, kinship, gender and generation gained strength. The focus is on discussing and analyzing how, through a research among relatives-interlocutors, it was possible to understand the classifications associated with the course of life, “aging” and the categories of periodization of life.
