The new forms of communication quickly dominated the world scene because they can cover a much more significant number of people, besides they transmit a much larger amount of information in less time. Thus, new possibilities have emerged to bridge the gap between government and voters. However, the media are not impartial when it comes to political debate. The commercial media are still the main sources of information and entertainment.
