Using the ethnographic method, the research leaned on the theoretical framework of urban anthropology and brought people who coexisted from the moment of structuring the local soccer to the moment that this sport underwent major international, national and local changes through globalization, dialoguing with David Harvey in questions of passage of time and changes in space and its implications in football.
