Initially, covers up some historical facts that were of utmost importance in the process of conceptual evolution of the real numbers. Secondly, through the development of theories of abstract algebra, sets and mathematical analysis, is used a axiomatic method to expose the complete ordered field of real, stating and proving some of its properties.
