Our aim is to deal, didactically, with the main topics concerning convexity, as well as the consequent exploitation of the envolved mathematical concepts. In this sense, we have made a bibliographic revision approaching important theorems, lemmas, corollaries and propositions designed both to first readers and to those who want to work with applications arising from convexity.
