In order to outline everyday images of the neighborhood, aspects of the urban landscape such as roads, limits, neighborhood, nodal points, memory and heritage spaces were worked with the residents of the city of Goiânia. The methodology of this work consists of social investigation, approaching two different audiences: a general population of Goiânia that does not have the habit of visiting the neighborhood and residents, passers-by and workers of Goiânia’s Center, who are frequently in the neighborhood. It was also analyzed how the media sees the neighborhood and which news has more prominence, realizing which image the newspapers propagate about the neighborhood. It is noticed that the community in general has some fixed images about the neighborhood that are often propagated and corroborated by related and social media.
