The objective is to theoretically debate contemporary scientific communication and, empirically, produce an outlook on the treatment of journalism in agribusiness in regard to matters related to the rural and to science, technology and innovation. It investigates the theme of scientific journalism from news reports published in Suplemento do Campo, from O Popular newspaper, between 1988 and 2015, through a quali-quantitative content analysis.
