To this end, the present work drew on remote sensing data, specifically of the images of the sensor system DMSP-OLS (Defense Meteorological Satellite Program-Operational Linescan System) and of Geoprocessing techniques for spatialization and measurement of light pollution. As part of the results, it is recognized that the light spots are concentrated mainly in metropolis and major urban centers, in consequence of the largest population concentration.
