For this purpose, we analyze the historical development of for languages of the family: Tupinambá, Apyãwa, Guajá and Nheengatú. The paper defends the hypothesis that the adverbial expressions moved to the first position of the sentence trigger a nominalization of the predicate, which used to function in the basic clause as main predicate. Moreover, we present a possible interpretation for the historical development of these constructions and we associate their characteristics different degrees of preservation of the omnipredicative pattern.
