In this sense, we seek to understand the choices made by these quilombola groups in the processes of formation of their territories, also seen as actions of suleamentos carried out by its members. In this scenario, the spatial and temporal milestones that traditionally underlie such territorialization processes expand, allowing us to see the presence of complex socio-environmental factors imbricated in the way these agents chose their places of occupation.
