The description restricts to the morphology with focus on the word and its structural constituent (the morphemes), because tipologically, Shanenawa is characterized as an aglutinant language. The work is divided in two basic parts. In the first one, the classes of words (or parts of the speech) are described, as well as a morphological structure of these classes. The second one is about the processes of formation of words: derivation and composition.
