Although they use the same expression to refer to the press freedom as an individual and social right, this study infers those different subjects built different meanings based on historical conditions, political positions and discourse formations where they are. So, this work concludes there are three different utterances using the same linguistic form. This analysis was done taking into account the concept of discourse heterogeneity in Foucault.porAcesso Abertohttp://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0/Heterogeneidade discursivaLiberdade de imprensaPosições-sujeitoDiscourse heterogeneityPress libertySubject positionsHeterogeneidade discursiva em torno da liberdade de imprensa e de expressãoArtigo
