However, the theme lesbianism is marked by invisibility in the cinematography of the female authors of that period. This may be explained by the socially prevailing heteronormativity, including the feminisms – only recently problematized. The theme only gained relevance in the lm of Adelia Sampaio, an African descent documentarian, who made the rst full length ction – of female authors- about a romantic relationship between two women, called Amor maldito (1984).
