Acesso em: 9 mar. 2023.e- 2175-1277http://repositorio.bc.ufg.br/handle/ri/22099The article proposes a discussion of poetic representations of World War II based on the poems “Carta a Stalingrado”, by Carlos Drummond de Andrade, and “Europa”, by Adolfo Casais Monteiro. Above all, we explore the testimonial marks of the poems in their desire to sing World War II from a peripheral point of view in relation to space of the battles. Through the sympathetic effort of these poetics, the physical distance is confronted with the wide and high style, the explicit political message, the genre hybridism, the dialectic between destruction and redemption and an attempt to articulate the mourning demanded by the horror of war and the announcement of a utopia to be built in memory of the dead and remission of the survivors.porAcesso Abertohttp://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0/Carlos Drummond de AndradeAdolfo Casais MonteiroGuerraAutoritarismoTestemunhoPoetryWarAutoritarismTestimonyLírica de guerra e anti-fascismo em Carlos Drummond de Andrade e Adolfo Casais MonteiroWar poetry and anti-fascism in Carlos Drummond de Andrade and Adolfo Casais MonteiroArtigo
