We have found that the studied texts maintain a close dialogue from the graphic project up to the narrative construction and of the protagonist characters that reveal a very similar hero’s journey, in agreement with Campbell’s view, although the trajectory of the protagonist of Ana Miranda's narrative presents conflicts connected to her female condition and an open outcome. We have concluded that the narratives present stages in the hero’s journey, or monomyth, that vivify mythical contents leading to the protagonist’s self-knowledge.porAcesso Abertohttp://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0/MonomitoLiteratura contemporâneaEstudos comparadosNarrativaMonomythContemporary literatureComparative studiesNarrative(Des)andanças no desmundo do mataréu: o monomito como possibilidade de construção e leitura narrativaWanderings in the bush world: the monomyth as a possibility of construction and narrative readingArtigo
