Berg (Myrtaceae) occurs mainly in Cerrado regions, described by its shrubby size and edible fruits, which have high nutritional value. Studies for this species are scarce, with limited knowledge about its reproductive habits, although they are an influencing factor for genetic diversity patterns. Microsatellite markers are quite efficient for analyses of individual discrimination and genetic diversity. Furthermore, by using the genotyping technique by sequencing these markers (SSR-GBS), it is possible to obtain information not only about the size of the alleles, but also about their sequences, with a greater amount of data compared to the traditional method. The objective of this work was to investigate the sequences of the amplified fragments and investigate the presence of clones in a population of Eugenia klotzschiana. For this purpose, sequence data from 22 SSR-Seq loci, previously obtained with the SSR-GBS pipeline, were used for 37 individuals from a natural population. Point mutations were observed in 60% of the loci and all loci were polymorphic. The average number of alleles was 3.1, ranging from 2 to 5 alleles per locus. Nei's genetic diversity (He) was 0.58, the observed heterozygosity (Ho) was 0.88 and the intrapopulation fixation index (f) was -0.537, reducing excess heterozygotes. The combined probability of paternity exclusion (Q) analysis was 0.9998 and the combined probability of identity (Pi) was (1.09×10-14 ), indicating that a battery of locomotives is adequate for conducting individual discrimination analyses. The presence of clones in the population was confirmed, forming eight clonal lineages, with a clonal range of more than 300 meters, offering asexual reproduction over long distances.porAcesso Abertohttp://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0/Pêra do cerradoDiversidade genéticaReprodução assexuadaSequenciamento de nova geraçãoCerrado pearGenetic diversityAsexual reproductionNext generation sequencingGenotipagem com base em sequenciamento de regiões microssatélites para a identificação de clones em Eugenia klotzschiana O.
