However, due to the communicative barrier between sign language and orality, obstacles arise that deprive the deaf of fully enjoying basic rights, especially access to healthcare. Faced with this reality, the present project aims, through an analysis of the main barriers between deaf patients and hearing healthcare professionals, to develop a user interface design solution that alleviates communicative difficulties during an in-person consultation without the presence of an interpreter.
