Discussions were made in light of the historical-cultural theory and the theoretical-methodological proposal of the Guiding Teaching Activities. Data were obtained by conducting a formative experiment with teachers enrolled in the Supervised Curricular Training Course II of the senior year of the Mathematics Bachelor Degree at the State University of Goiás -in Quirinópolis.
