For that purpose, this was based on diagnosis from course reports and evaluation records from the years 1994/95, made avaílable by Capes. Therefore, these present some topics for discussion, related to the intrinsic aspects of the Geography post-graduation programrnes, as well as the arguments towards a necessary decentralization of post-graduation in Brazil.
