From each of such pairs one of the animais was casually sorted for treatment and the other was kept untreated as control. The treated ones received the paste orally at the dosis of 8 mg/kg ogf each of the active drugs. The results were according to ARMOUR'S (Pharmacol. basis large An. Med., p. 174-209, 1983) criterion for each part of the digestive tube and for each genus or species of nematodes: 1) stomach: a) Habronema sp - A; b) Trichostrongylus axei - A; 2) small intestine: Parascaris equorum - U (unconclusive); 3) large intestine: a) Strongilus sp - B; b) Triodontophorys sp and Craterostomum sp - A; c) small strongyles - A; d) Oxyuris equi - U (unconclusive).
