The objective is to understand how the woman who resisted the military dictatorship of 1964 is represented by contemporary cinema. And through the analysis of the sequences of these two films, one can notice common characteristics in the representation of the female figures that star in them. It is understood that this character is represented as a survivor, as a receptacle of the memory of what happened during the regime, which is configured in the form of trauma and suffering. She is also a figure in which the female condition, as seen at the time in patriarchal parameters, needs to be discarded as a form of empowerment or it will be considered a transgression punishable by punishment.Este artículo considera el cine como un instrumento comunicacional de valor histo- riográfico y, por lo tanto, analiza no solo el material textual de las películas A memória que me contam (2012) y Hoje (2013), sino también el contexto en el que se produjeron, siguiendo el modelo de circuito comunicacional propuesto por Américo y Villela (2013). El objetivo es comprender cómo la mujer que resistió la dictadura militar de 1964 es representada por el cine contemporáneo. A través del análisis de las secuencias de estas dos películas, se pueden observar características comunes en la representación de las figuras femeninas que las protagonizan. Se entiende que este personaje es representado como una sobreviviente, como un receptáculo de la memoria de lo ocurrido durante el régimen, que se configura en forma de trauma y sufrimiento.
