Partícipants were residents of an endemic área of Chagas' disease in Bahia, Brazil. Seronegative women presented an overall rate of fetal loss of 93.3 per 1000 pregnancies (gestational age < 6 months) while seropositive women presented a rate of 105.3 per 1000 pregnancies. The age distribution of the rate of fetal loss revealed that seropositive women aged 15-24 years presented a frequency of fetal loss higher than seronegative women of the same age group.porAcesso AbertoPerdas fetais em uma área rural endémica para a doença de chagas no estado da BahiaFetal loss on endemic área for chaga's disease in Bahia, BrazilArtigo
