The group was composed of samples with 73 students in early years and 120 students in teacher training, with 31 students from the Faculty of Education and 89 students from the Normal course, the city of Cachoeira do Sul, Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil. The investigation sought to examine drawings that represented science and the scientist. It was found that for most participants, the reality of science and scientists design consists of a set of stereotypes and distorted by the broadcast media.
