It will be analyzed the last books approved by PNLD (National Plan of the Didactic Book), whose works have already been distributed and used in schools, that is, the one of 2014. Two collections of Geography of Elementary School II, selected according to the criterion of having been the most distributed in Brazil by PNLD. The place of the woman in the textbook of Geography will be given by an analysis of the representations, images and speech identified in the textbooks in question.
