We aim to examine, based on the databank TRIBUNAL, the ways whereby agreements are construed in situations of deliberation in polemical institutional contexts. Drawing upon reading of authors who study argumentation in interactional situations (PLANTIN, 1990, 1996, 2016; ANGENOT, 2008; among others), the analysis shows that ‘to agree with’ doesn’t mean, necessarily, ‘to adhere to’ a thesis. In some contexts, such as the legal field, agreement may be reached simply to maintain the group’s alignment.porAcesso Abertohttp://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0/DeliberaçãoUnanimidadeDecisãoTribunalDeliberationConsensusDecisionCourtDois bicudos não se beijam?
