The liquid presentation of pharmaceutical formulations offers flexibility and precision in the administration of medications, constituting a common practice in pediatrics. The objective of the study was to discuss and describe the importance of pharmacotechniques in the hospital environment in the processes of adapting pediatric dosage forms aimed at hospitalized pediatric patients. An integrative literature review was carried out from 2010 to 2023, in the databases Google Scholar, Medline (Medical Literature Analysis and Retrieval System Online), PubMed, SCIELO (Scientific Electronic Library Online), ScienceDirect, with descriptors in Portuguese and English Good Manipulation Practices, Pharmacotechnics, Pediatric Hospitals, Pediatrics, Pharmaceutical Preparations. The medications described were folinic acid, furosemide, hydrochlorothiazide, captopril and pyridoxine.
