We will also research and analyze the historical origins and evolution of patchwork, from its roots to its use as a tool to minimize the environmental impact of the fashion industry. The study uses patchwork, craft and sustainable techniques, highlighting the advantages and challenges associated with this practice. In addition, we explore cases of brands and designers who have incorporated patchwork into their collections, analyzing them.
