The bodily outside surface calves was divided in four regions to determine the elected site by the severalphasis of the ticks as well: 1 - poli', shoulder aid dewla*p 2 - barrei, back, lai and flanks 3 - chest, belly, udcer and crest 4 - arms and legs. The ticks were fouid in the following investigated counties: "Goiânia, Senador Canedo, Inhumas, Crkás, Silvania, Cristianópolis, Hidrolândia, Bela Vista, Aparecida de Goiânia, Nerójolis, Orizona, Itapirapuã, Aragoiânia" and "Santa Bárbara". The experiment showed three peacks of engorged female ticks during the mounths of february, may and june the intensites of the peacks were related to temperatures and umidity. Arms, legs and belly were the regions preferred by the ticks.
