From them, 152 patients under specific treatment (3,0%), were followed with culture for mycobacterias and test of susceptibility to antituberculous drugs. In 214 samples analyzed, the only species isolated was Mycobacterium tuberculosis. In 128 cases it was not possible to detect the time for reporting results. The strains from 80 patients (52,6%) showed susceptibility to all tested drugs. Among these patients, 31 had already been treated for tuberculosis in the past. Among patients with resistant strains, 66 (43,3 %) showed resistance to one or more drugs of the scheme 1. The simultaneous resistance to three drugs occurred in 17 patients. It was possible to characterize the co-infection with HIV in only 48 cases, being 19 seropositives.porAcesso AbertoTuberculoseTratamentoResistencia a drogasTuberculosisTreatmentDrug resistanceAspectos da tuberculose resistente a drogas no estado de Goias, BrasilAspects of drug-resistant tuberculosis in Goias State, BrazilArtigo
