Thus, this study aimed to compare the methods of cold pressing, Soxhlet and Bligh Dyer for extraction of Jatropha oil and evaluate the physical and chemical quality of the extracted oil. The press proved to be an inefficient method of extraction , while the Soxhlet and Bligh Dyer method provided satisfactory results.
