This is the purpose of this work, which seeks by means of a decolonial vision to question the modern hegemonic discourse that has permeated the scientific and technological making. Hegemonic science has been contributing to the drastic and predatory modification of nature, space, knowledge and culture of traditional communities, for example, as an essentialist and reductionist in the view that constructs the world and the subjects. By virtue of this, it is necessary to oppose to the hegemonic view a poetic knowledge whose vision values the simple, the diverse, the surreal, the useless, the abandoned, the unimportant ... showing how the rationalist and unilateral perspective of seeing the being and the can be limited and exclusive. In summary, it is a question of to see the world, nature, culture and language under the decolonized view of the poetry of Manoel de Barros.porAcesso Abertohttp://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0/DecolonialDiscurso hegemônicoDiscurso poéticoManoel de BarrosHegemonic discoursePoetic discourseDescolonizar o olhar, provocar a imaginação: natureza, espaço, saber e linguagem em Manoel de BarrosTo decolonize the look, to cause imagination: nature, space, knowledge and language in Manoel de BarrosArtigo
