Efeito dos níveis de metionina na ração, do peso inicial e da idade dos pintos de corte sobre a digestibilidade da ração pré-inicial. Acta Scientiarum. Animal Sciences, Maringá, v. 26, n. 2, p. 217-223, 2004.1806-2636e- 1807-8672http://repositorio.bc.ufg.br/handle/ri/12915This experiment evaluated the methionine levels of pre starter diets and one day chick weight on the digestibility of ration. Three hundred and twenty chicks at initial weight of 38 and 45g fed with rations at different methionine levels (0.455%; 0,507%; 0.599% e 0,611%) were used in split pot experimental design (4 levels of methionine and two initial chick weight by age 2-4; 4-6 and 6-8 days). Results showed that the levels of methionine and the weight of chicks did not affect the digestibility of dry matter, ether extract and nitrogen balance in all ages. The digestibility of diets improved with chick age increase. Chicks weighting 38 and 45g had the same ability to digest the food.porAcesso AbertoAminoácidoFrango de cortePeso do pintoRaçãoAmino acidsBroilersInitial chick weightRationEfeito dos níveis de metionina na ração, do peso inicial e da idade dos pintos de corte sobre a digestibilidade da ração pré-inicialEffect of diet levels of methionine and initial weight of broiler chicks on the digestibility of pre starter rationsArtigo
