The investigation is focused on the crisis diagnoses, on the contemporary challenges, on the missions and on the proposed alternative solutions, pointing out that there is a kind of standardization in higher education policies in a society of knowledge and in a competitive and globalized world permanently changing. This process underlies the reforms that are being implemented in different Latin American countries.Cet article analyse l'ordonnancement de l'éducation supérieure à partir de documents internationaux qui orientent les modèles et les réformes contemporaines. La recherche est centrée sur les diagnostiques de la crise, sur les enjeux contemporains, sur les missions et aussi sur les alternatives de résolution indiquées. La documentation montre quelque normalisation dans les politiques de l'éducation supérieure dans une société de connaissance et dans un monde globalisé en constante transformation.
