For this purpose, the qualitative research method was used, based on Experience Report combined with literature review, through the development of reflections that can problematize pedagogical practices in art at this stage of basic education; sharing, through experience reports from the Non-Mandatory Internship, how artistic experiences with children triggered different ways of experiencing art; discussing possibilities for improving pedagogical practices in a way that contributes to better learning of procedural content in visual arts.
