Specifically, it aimed to identify and analyze the knowledge learned during participation in the AAAFEF, as well as to discuss the implications of this knowledge for academic training. This is a qualitative, exploratory and descriptive study. It involved 8 graduates who took part in the athletics program and answered a questionnaire with open-ended questions. The data was analyzed using the content analysis technique. The results show that perceptions indicate that learning was based on the knowledge of practical experience and a deficit in the plural knowledge of academic training (disciplinary and curricular knowledge). The data shows that the students perceive Athletics as a good place to "put into practice" some academic knowledge and that conceptual knowledge is marginalized in the daily life of Athletics.
