In Geography this challenge becomes greater for the teacher, as the difficulty in constructing the concepts necessary for understanding the discipline. Thus emerges as a proposed teaching strategy to be applied in the vicinity of the school environment, which will cover the everyday and the local space of the students to the school. The objective of this educational methodology is to use a practical activity to the process of teaching and learning in Geography, from reading, observation and systematization of information collected in physical space frequented by the subjects involved in the learning process. For it necessary to use a playful sport called “Trail with Maps” as a methodological tool for gathering information. These sports also allow educational approach in another branch of cartography. This activity will enable those involved in education the elucidation and understanding of concepts that were previously taught away from the school environment, by identifying problem situations generated from the physical configuration of the space and examined the different forms of use and occupation of these places.porAcesso Abertohttp://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0/Trilha de orientaçãoTrail with mapsGeografia Física e ensino de cartografiaGeography and cartographyTrilha de orientação: aplicação de uma prática de ensino de cartografia para a compreensão dos conceitos da Geografia Física na fase escolarTrail with mapas: practical methodology that uses the teaching of mapping for the understanding of the concepts of Physical Geography in school levelArtigo
