This research was conducted through the textual analysis of the discursive project of teaching graduate courses in chemistry in the Goiás state. The documents trying to adjust their proposals to legal guidelines, however, present contradictions in relation to the theoretical references adopted. One of the characteristics analyzed was positivist view of science embedded in the partial texts of documents from the emphasis on testing as way to confirm the theories or to focus on the process of teacher training. The activities of the future teachers are associated with laboratory work, the quality control and industries at the expense of educational activities.
